Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

Spotlight: Tour 18 Dallas brings the most famous holes in the US into one round

It looks like we’re going to get not one, but two looks at Augusta National within about five months from fall of 2020 to April of 2021. Tantalizing, amirite? Of course, watching The Masters on TV is exciting, but the chances of any of us actually getting to play the course and the holes of Amen Corner is a long shot.

Enter Tour 18 Dallas . It’s one of two Tour 18 concepts in Texas (the other is Tour 18 Houston) and features a collection of replicas of the most famous holes around the country from Augusta National to Pine Valley.

If you’re a fan of watching golf held on the grandest stages, you’ll savor the chance to take on some of the most famous holes in the world. Tour 18’s front nine culminates with a Sawgrass-replicated island green par 3, and the back nine wraps in thrilling fashion with the three holes that make up Augusta’s “Amen Corner.”

There are other replica holes from private clubs you may never get to play, including Pine Valley, Riviera and Oakmont.

If you’re a Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex golfer who hasn’t played Tour 18 Dallas in awhile, the course just reopened this fall following a greens project. They’re now brand new and rolling as excellent as the pro golfers experience week in and week out.

“Greens were much improved. Solid course with fun look at the best of the best,” wrote a Golf Advisor reviewer in October, 2020.

Tour 18 Dallas is located in Flower Mound, just north of Fort Worth and just off I-35 W. Facilities are built to tour-grade quality with a large clubhouse with locker rooms and a bar and restaurant overlooking the island green replica of Sawgrass. There is also a full practice facility and driving range.

Horrid Experience

Haven’t played this course in years but was asked to play it today. We teed off at 9:30 am and finished at 4 pm. It’s funny because the parking lot was empty when I arrived and left. We called the pro shop several times during play, and there was zero concern or efforts to correct the over top slow play, which entailed waiting for long periods of time for each shot. The entire course was muddy, including the fairways, sand traps, greens and incredibly around the greens. It was honestly like the pathetic municipal courses I played when growing up and was the most miserable golf experience I think I’ve ever had. The entire track needs to be updated in the most extreme manner or sold and redesigned completely.

The course layout is awesome, but the conditions should be better for the price. Half of the bunkers were flooded. There were tire marks all around the greens and wet areas. I called before my round to specifically ask about flooded bunkers and conditions and was told that everything was in great condition. If this is what they consider great condition, then they need to lower the price.

Had read some so so reviews. I was a little nervous driving out to play, but this was a great course and a great day. There were a couple of greens a little slow due to some issues, but really hardly noticeable. The course overall was in great shape. Completely enjoyed the experience and will certainly be going back to play this course.

Very interesting course- they have replicas from signature holes across various prestigious Golf Courses across the United States. Worth the USD 70 green fee - but make sure you have an additional sleeve of Golf balls, since it is a tough course !

You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches or huge salads at lunch. I've had the sliders, Rueben, Patty Melt, Pulled Pork and Chicken sandwiches which all come with a choice of a side. The $8-12 price range fits the size and quality.

I played here on a weekday. The online booking wouldn’t let me book the discounted green fee for a 1~Ball, so I rang the course and they said they would match it. I also booked rental clubs at $50 for the day- they were a pretty new set of Callaways with rogue driver, fairways and hybrid. On arrival at the course, the pro shop guy could not have been more helpful and friendly; after the round he even sorted a towel I could borrow to grab a shower. The course was in great condition and the greens were really receptive. I didn’t see a cart service during my round but it wasn’t warm enough to worry about fluids. Overall I really enjoyed playing here, pace of play was good and it was a fair price.
