Tom Cruise Is ‘Extremely Confident’ About His ‘Special’ Relationship With Elsina Khayrova: Source (Exclusive)

Tom Cruise and Elsina Khayrova have been quietly dating for “a while now” ahead of their public debut in December, a source exclusively reveals in the newest issue of Us Weekly .

“They’re very happy,” the insider says. “And Tom’s extremely confident about it working out for the long term.”

Earlier this month, Cruise, 61, was spotted getting cozy with the Russian socialite, 36, at a party in London’s Grosvenor Square. However, the couple’s England outings didn’t stop there.

“They’ve hung out at Tom’s favorite private members club and regularly enjoy afternoon tea and gourmet dinners out in London,” the source continues.

The Top Gun: Maverick star and Khayrova met through mutual friends in the city’s social scene, according to the insider. “Tom’s become a popular figure in London among the well-heeled, elite types,” the source adds. “What started as a basic friendship quickly turned into something more special.”

While the romance is still in the early stages, Cruise’s eldest children, Isabella, 30, and Connor, 28 , have given their stamp of approval. (Cruise shares the two kids with ex-wife Nicole Kidman . He also shares a daughter with ex-wife Katie Holmes .)

Isabella and Connor “think Elsina is great and are so happy to see that their dad has love in his life again,” the insider tells Us , sharing that Cruise has been waiting for the right person . “He wanted to take his time and not rush into any relationships just for the sake of it,” the source explains.

Khayrova, for her part, is fresh out of a relationship. She filed for divorce from Russian oligarch Dmitry Tsetkov in 2022 after separating two years prior. The exes, who share two children, made headlines for their messy legal battle earlier this year. During the proceedings, which have since been settled, Khayrova was accused of hiding her $1 million handbag collection as the former couple argued over assets.

Tom Cruise reportedly has a new girlfriend.

The “Top Gun: Maverick” star, 61, has been “growing closer” to Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova, 36, over the past couple of months and is now officially dating her, the Daily Mail reports.

“It’s well known within Elsina’s circle that she and Tom are now an item,” an insider told the outlet.

“They’ve grown very close over the past few weeks but take a lot of care not to be photographed together because they want to maintain their privacy,” the source continued.

“Tom has been staying the night at Elsina’s apartment, which as you can imagine, is a very beautiful place. They enjoy hanging out together and despite their wealth, do a lot of the things that normal couples do.”

The pair both attended a gala dinner in support of London’s Air Ambulance Charity, where Prince William was the guest of honor.

Though Cruise and Khayrova arrived separately, friends told the outlet that it’s not a surprise, as they’ve been spending most of their time behind closed doors at her multimillion-dollar apartment in Knightsbridge, London.

However, the pair have stepped out incognito for strolls through Hyde Park, sources claimed.

The two have also reportedly dined privately at several exclusive London restaurants.

Page Six has contacted Cruise’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

They were first  romantically linked  after reportedly canoodling at a party in London’s ritzy Mayfair neighborhood in December.

“They were inseparable, clearly a couple. He seemed to be besotted with her,” an eyewitness told the Daily Mail at the time.

The “Jack Reacher” actor has previously said “I do” three times.

He was married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001 and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.

Khayrova, for her part, split from ex-husband Dmitry Tsetkov in 2022.

The Russian oligarch, 43, spoke to the tabloid in December about their bitter three-year divorce battle, which he claims cost him more than $150 million.

“Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste. Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open,” he said.

He added, “I’m happy for her, I wish her all the best.”

However, before we jump ahead too quickly, let’s step back and begin at the very start.

Melissa Gilbert

Cruise’s relationship with Melissa Gilbert predates the name Cruise! Gilbert appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live in 2014, and she revealed that the actor was still going by his birth name when they first met. “I was maybe 16 or 17,” she recalled. “Actually, when I dated him, he was still Tom Mapother.”

Both Cruise and Gilbert were actors in 1981, but their situations could not have been more different. The former had just made his film debut in Endless Love (1981), and the latter was one of the cast members on the hit show Little House on the Prairie (1974-83). “He was like a struggling, starving actor, and I was working,” Gilbert added. “I actually bought him his first set of dishes.” They broke up within a few months.

Mimi Rogers

Cruise married actress Mimi Rogers in 1987. They were together for three years, and BBC News theorized that Rogers was actually the person who introduced Cruise to the Church of Scientology. Either way, their romance was not built to last. Rogers cited intimacy issues, and then there were discrepancies in their respective careers.

Rogers’ career ran parallel with Cruise’s. She also made her film debut in 1981 and earned critical praise for her performances in Gung Ho (1986), Someone to Watch Over Me , and Street Smart (both 1987), but Cruise’s megastardom led to her being overlooked in the media. “No matter what the article is, it’s ‘Tom Cruise‘s wife’,” Rogers told People . Nicole Kidman

Cruise quickly rebounded from the Rogers marriage and started dating Nicole Kidman. The two had met during the making of Days of Thunder (1990) and were already two years into their marriage by the time they made Far and Away (1992). Cruise and Kidman were one of the premiere celebrity couples of the decade, and their third collaboration, Eyes Wide Shut (1999), drew attention for its scandalous depiction of a marriage on the rocks.

Tom Cruise keeps making movies and studios keep letting him run from pyrotechnics on camera. And, for whatever reason, people keep seeing his film.

What’s more is that despite how infamously miserable his former spouses have been, sometimes, women keep dating him.

Who is he dating now? Apparently, there’s a Russian socialite in the picture.

According to a report by The Daily Mail , Tom Cruise and Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova have been “growing closer” over the past couple of months.

The report adds that the 61-year-old actor and the 36-year-old socialite are now officially dating.

According to the insider: “It’s well known within Elsina’s circle that she and Tom are now an item.”

“They’ve grown very close over the past few weeks,” the source went on to detail.

“But,” the insider added, Tom and Elsina “take a lot of care not to be photographed together.”

The source explained that the pair implement these precautions “because they want to maintain their privacy.”

But Tom Cruise and Elsina are exhibiting boyfriend/girlfriend behavior

“Tom has been staying the night at Elsina’s apartment,” the insider dished.

The source went on to describe: “which as you can imagine, is a very beautiful place.” Her Knightsbridge home costs millions of dollars, so one would imagine so.

“They enjoy hanging out together” the insider described, “and despite their wealth, do a lot of the things that normal couples do.”

As we reported recently, Tom Cruise and Prince William hung out at London’s Air Ambulance Charity. William is the organization’s patron, and has been stepping in while King Charles undergoes cancer treatments.

The polarizing actor and the Russian socialite arrived separately, but both attended the event.

According to the report, the two spend most of their time together — rather than falling all over each other in front of prying eyes.

According to inside sources, the two will go out on walks through Hyde Park.

Late last year, people first speculated that they were an item. The two were allegedly looking very familiar with each other (I believe that I saw the word “canoodling” thrown around) at a party in London’s upscale Mayfair neighborhood.

According to eyewitnesses, the two seemed to be “clearly a couple” with the actor head over heels for Elsina.

Tom Cruise is reportedly dating a Russian socialite, and went public with the new romance at a lavish London party.

The Hollywood icon , 61, is rumoured to be in a relationship with Elsina Khayrova, 36, and the lovebirds were spotted getting close at an exclusive bash in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, as they arrived together. Elsina looked stunning a black dress with a diamanté bow, and was seen dancing with the Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol star, before posing for pictures with guests. The alleged hot new couple were then seen leaving together in the early hours, fuelling rumours of a new love interest for the Hollywood legend.

Elsina, who recently turned her Instagram account to private, is the daughter of a Russian politician, and recently divorced her oligarch husband in a high-profile case over the summer. The glamorous mother-of-two shared snaps from her luxury holidays on social media, as she jetted to Paris, Venice, San Tropez, Monte Carlo, Qatar and California.

Last year, she and Russian diamond tycoon Dmitry Tsvetkov parted ways after 10 years of marriage, but their split sparked a bitter High Court battle that was only settled a few months ago. The couple shared expensive properties, including a £22million Surrey mansion, as well as five apartments in London worth around £18million. They also had luxury properties in Dubai and Cyprus, as well as an extensive supercar collection.

They boasted an art collection which contained pieces by artists such as Renoir, and their jewellery collection was said to be worth millions, as it included jewels from Cartier. Their divorce hit the headlines over the summer, as she was called “dishonest” by a judge overseeing their court battle. Numerous disputes emerged during their court appearances, including Elsina being accused of lying about the worth of her £1million designer handbag collection.

According to MailOnline, her ex-husband Dmitry still resides in their Surrey mansion, suggesting he kept the property in the divorce. However, it’s not yet known if she lives in one of their central London apartments, or has another property in the city. Dmitry arrived in the UK under the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme in November 2004, and in 2010, he was given a British passport - Elsina is also a British citizen.

Earlier this year, he told The Telegraph he was no longer involved in diamond trading, but instead worked as “an intermediary in business dealings across the world”. In the wake of Russia ’s invasion of Ukraine last year, many Russian oligarchs were sanctioned in the UK, however Dmitry was not on the list, as he had not been to the country since 2017. Despite his absence from Russia, he still claimed he was a target, and had allegedly survived three Mafia assassination attempts.

Elsina’s father is Russian politician Rinat Khayrov, who worked in the country’s Ministry of Defence until 2011. Then, he was elected to parliament, but retired in 2021, and is believed to be a member of President Vladimir Putin's United Russia party. However, he is not thought to be part of the Russian’s leader’s inner circle.

In the years since the divorce, Mimi has said that she regularly gets questioned about her marriage to the  Top Gun  star, but she doesn’t really comment much. ““Any time anything happens with him I get a call: ’What do you think of Katie? After the split from Mimi, Tom starred alongside his future wife  Nicole Kidman in  Days of Thunder,  and the pair got married in December 1990. The couple adopted two kids: a daughter Isabella,   29, and a son Connor,  27, in the 90s. During their 11-year marriage, Tom and Nicole also starred in the 1999 film  Eyes Wide Shut  together, which Nicole, 54, looked back on fondly in a 2020 New York Times   interview. “We were happily married through that. We would go go-kart racing after those scenes. We’d rent out a place and go racing at 3 in the morning,” she said.

After 11 years together, the couple broke up, and Tom filed for divorce in February 2001. In the years after the split, Nicole said the breakup was a “major shock” in a 2006 interview with  Ladies Home Journal,  per  Today .  “I knew I was going to get hit with something. But I think a divorce, and the demise of what your family is, is a little death in itself,” she said. Shortly after the split, there had been reports that Nicole had suffered a miscarriage at the end of their relationship, but she set the record straight in a 2007 interview with  Marie Claire . She said that it was “wrongly reported,” and clarified, “I had an ectopic pregnancy at the beginning of [my marriage].”

Tom Cruise may be most known for his association with the controversial Scientology sect, but his first wife, Mimi Rogers, was the one who initially brought him there. Following their divorce, Rogers permanently severed ties with Scientology and the account of their breakup is bizarre and filled with speculation. Shortly after the divorce between Rogers and Cruise was completed in 1990, Rogers revealed some intriguing details about their relationship in 1993.

As reported by EOnline , Rogers revealed to Playboy during that time, "Here's the real story. Tom was seriously thinking of becoming a monk. At least for that period of time, it looked as though marriage wouldn't fit into his overall spiritual need. And he thought he had to be celibate to maintain the purity of his instrument." Not only that, but she went on to say that her own instrument 'needed tuning.' But in his 2013 book Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood & the Prison of Belief , Lawrence Wright said that Scientology leader David Miscavige subsequently distanced Rogers from Cruise so he could marry Nicole Kidman as per the Hollywood Reporter .

He and his family joined Scientology in 1971, and he progressed through the ranks to become the Chairman of the Board and finally the organization's head. Cruise became the most well-known figure in the Church of Scientology as his movie career took off, and he became close to its founder.

Officially, Scientology 'offers a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one's self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the Supreme Being,' as stated on the website of the organization.  A Daily Mail article claimed that Cruise has a property next to Miscavige's house at Gold Base, the Scientology headquarters. A former personal chef for Cruise, Sinar Parman, discussed his employer's connection to Miscavige, whom he calls 'DM.'

For a long time, Cruise's religion has been a hot subject, and now it has come to light that he is making great efforts to start again. Someone with knowledge of the Los Angeles Scientology community exclusively informed In Touch , "Tom is only in L.A. every six months or so but he used to be such a huge presence among the church community and at the church facilities and gatherings in Hollywood and in Los Feliz and that’s simply not the case now. It’s clear he comes to L.A. when he has movie business stuff to attend to but if he needs to practice Scientology, he’s doing it out of Florida, if at all." According to the source, Tom, who is 61 years old, does not "relish spending his precious downtime with Los Angeles Scientologists".

The insider further explained, "He's got bigger and better things to do. But it really takes the air out of the Scientology community in L.A. that was once his home base. You also see him chasing after women who clearly have no interest in Scientology, which is very telling about where Tom’s heart truly is at the moment. How great for the church would it be if Tom actually dated a longtime, true-blue member? But that’s not what’s happening at all!"
