• Safety Equipment: Electric bike riders are required to wear a helmet.
• Road Rules: E-bikes in Sydney are also subject to speed limits. Pedal-assist e-bikes are limited to a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour. In Sydney, electric bikes are subject to the same road rules as regular bicycles.
• Bike Specifications: Pedal assist electric bikes in Sydney are allowed a max power of 500 watts and a max speed of 25 km/h, throttle assist motors are allowed up to 200 watts and a max weight of 50 kg.
• Where to Ride: Electric bikes are generally allowed on bike paths and lanes in Sydney, but riders should be aware of any specific rules or restrictions that apply to particular paths or lanes.

The Sydney Classic is our most popular guided bike tour. It’s an easy ride through parks, along the harbour, and past all of Sydney’s iconic sites. You’ll get to ride on the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and relax in one of Sydney’s oldest pubs…it’s the one tour in Sydney that shows a little bit of everything along the way!
