Current CMA Award Vocal Group of the Year and Album of the Year nominees Old Dominion announced their upcoming No Bad Vibes Tour set to kick off in spring 2023. 

The No Bad Vibes Tour will be at The Monument in Summit Arena on February 16th featuring Whiskey Fest favorites Frank Ray, Kassi Ashton, and Greylan James.   Tickets go on-sale to the general public Friday, October 28th at 10:00am

The surprise announcement was made to a capacity crowd at Loser’s Bar and Grill in Nashville during Monday night’s Whiskey Jam performance. Old Dominion, who got their start as regulars on the Whiskey Jam stage, was joined by rising country stars and Whiskey Jam favorites Shawn Austin, Greylan James, Kassi Ashton and Frank Ray. All these acts will be joining Old Dominion in a first of its kind opportunity with Whiskey Jam to be the opening act support partner. Fans will get to see Ray, Ashton & James on all U.S. dates, and Ray, Austin along with Steven Lee Olson on all Canadian dates.

The Multi-Platinum selling, chart-topping band has previously surprised fans at intimate venues in cities across the US as part of their exclusive pop-up show series. The free shows were a gift from the band to their fans who they have missed performing for amid the pandemic.

Old Dominion’s headlining tour announcement follows a massively successful run on superstar Kenny Chesney’s Here and Now 2022 Tour, which included 23 stadium shows this summer. Fans can catch the reigning 4X CMA Vocal Group of the Year and 5X ACM Group of the Year on their 30 date-run which kicks off January 19, 2023 at the Ford Center in Evansville, IN and runs through July 30th. Speaking about the tour, front man Matthew Ramsey said “At an Old Dominion show, I think we just want people to feel happy.  They should feel like they got to forget about whatever is bothering them or whatever’s weighing them down in that point in time.  Just come and hangout with us, and escape for a couple hours.  Then hopefully they walk out feeling a little lighter than when they walked in.”    American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, October 19 at 10am local time through Thursday, October 27 at 10pm local time.   In addition to their packed touring schedule, Old Dominion has been writing and recording new music which they have teased on their TikTok page. Their last album, Time, Tequila and Therapy, was released in 2021 and debuted in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and is now nominated for Album of the Year at this year’s CMA Awards.

We will be using walk-thru metal detectors at the request of the promoter. With additional handheld wand detectors to be used as a secondary form of security. If you are uncomfortable with using the walk thru metal detector please notify a staff member.

It is mandatory that no unnecessary bags and/or items are brought to the facility. PROHIBITED ITEMS for this event are:

• Summit Arena Connector located by Entrance B inside of the complex.
• Entrance E located on the East side of the complex will also be open to get to Summit Arena.

Most of our parking is located on the East Side of the complex.

• Lots E1-E2 off of 5th Street/North Haines with additional Lots E4-E5 off of New York Street.
• Lots A1-A2 and Lot B2 located on the West Side of the Complex will be available for use during this event.

RESERVED PARKING LOT

Located in Lots B1-B2, please have your digital parking pass downloaded and placed in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay and ready to scan before entering the lot.

• If your vehicle is left over night it MUST BE MOVED by 9am Friday morning.

Ticket Office B by Entrance B will be open at 10:00am, Ticket Office C by Entrance C will be open at 5:00pm and Ticket Office D by Entrance D will be open at 6:30pm. All Bluepeak Ticket Offices will remain open throughout the event. Will Call Tickets will be available at any of the ticket office when they are open.

SEAT LOCATIONS

If you have a ticket that is for FLOOR seats, you will enter the floor thru the Event Level (Level 1), located by Entrance C. 

If you have a ticket in sections 100 or 200, you will proceed to the Main Concourse Level (Level 2) which can be accessed by elevators, escalators, grand staircase or Entrance D. When locating your section, use the Portal letter found on both your ticket and in the concourse (Portal A-U). Multiple maps can be found throughout the concourse or ask your nearest Monument Team Member for assistance.

Premium Tickets proceed to the North side on the Main Concourse Level (Level 2)

Old Dominion Hope to Bring the Happiness With Their 2023 No Bad Vibes Tour

Old Dominion are hoping to bring a little light to their fans with their just-announced 2023 No Bad Vibes Tour, which takes its name from their latest single, "No Hard Feelings." The string of dates kicks off Jan. 19 in Evansville, Ind., and extends through June.

"At an Old Dominion show, I think we just want people to feel happy," frontman Matthew Ramsey explains in a press release. "They should feel like they got to forget about whatever is bothering them or whatever's weighing them down at that point in time. Just come and hang out with us, and escape for a couple hours. Then hopefully they walk out feeling a little lighter than when they walked in."

It's a fitting message to go along with "No Hard Feelings," which is a breakup song that sends off an ex with nothing but well-wishes, good intentions and positivity for the future.

The band announced their tour on Monday night (Oct. 17) during a show at Loser's Bar and Grill in Nashville, and it's no coincidence that that set is where the chose to share the news: Their appearance was part of the Whiskey Jam stage, where they got their start in the city's live country music community, and a number of Whiskey Jam mainstay artists are accompanying them on their No Bad Vibes Tour.

Kassi Ashton , Frank Ray and Greylan James are on the bill for the U.S. leg of the tour, and when Old Dominion heads up to Canada, they'll bring Ray and Shawn Austin to open the show for those dates.

Tickets for the No Bad Vibes Tour go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Oct. 28, but fans hoping to snag their tickets early can sign up for a pre-sale code by subscribing to Old Dominion's newsletter . Also, American Express cardholders will have access to a special pre-sale that begins Wednesday, Oct. 19.

It’s time for good vibes only this year, as Old Dominion kicks off its 2023 with a “No Bad Vibes” Tour in January.

The tour name was created by someone in country music who loves to preach good vibes, Kenny Chesney.

“The name of our tour is No Bad Vibes Tour and it got named by Kenny,” the band told Taste of Country ahead of the 2022 CMA Awards in November .

Old Dominion was opening for Chesney on his “Here and Now Tour” in 2022. One day backstage, Chesney asked if they had named their tour. When they said no, he came up with “No Bad Vibes” and it stuck.

The group has a show at Vilar Center For The Arts - Avon, Colo. , on Jan. 10 before kicking off its tour , which you can see below. Fans in New England have just one show currently scheduled in Bangor, Maine. There is a show in Albany, NY, as well.

Old Dominion Drop Four-Song Sampler Ahead of Nationwide Tour

The country fivesome—comprised of vocalist Matthew Ramsey, bassist Geoff Sprung, drummer Whit Sellers, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, and guitarist Brad Tursi—have released a surprise four-song EP just before setting out on their 31-date No Bad Vibes Tour.

Dubbed the “Memory Lane (Sampler)” after their recently released tune of the same name , the collection features the title track, as well as new songs, “Ain’t Got A Worry,” “Freedom Like You,” and “Easier Said With Rum.” The project follows their 2021 release, Time, Tequila & Therapy , an album that has seen its share of acclaim.

“We’ve been working on so much new music, and the response to ‘Memory Lane’ has been so energizing that we decided we’re tired of sitting on it all!” Ramsey shared in a statement. “We’re so excited to share three more songs heading into the No Bad Vibes Tour and the next chapter in our musical journey.”

The Illinois Ticket Office at State Farm Center is located in the main lobby of State Farm Center at 1800 S 1st Street, between Kirby Avenue and St. Mary’s Road. Purchasing Tickets

Tickets for all State Farm Center events may be purchased at the Illinois Ticket Office service windows, online at StateFarmCenter.com, or by phone at 1-866-ILLINI-1 (866-455-4641). All tickets are subject to applicable facility fees. However, there are NO ticket service fees on tickets purchased in person at the Illinois Ticket Office.

Fighting Illini Men’s and Women’s Basketball tickets are available online and can be purchased by phone at 1-866-ILLINI-1 (866-455-4641). On game days, tickets are also available at the Illinois Ticket Office service windows. For premium seating information and sales, contact Illinois Premium Seating at 217-244-7722.

The Illinois Ticket Office accepts payment in the form of VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and personal checks.   **BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2024, THE ILLINOIS TICKET OFFICE WILL BE CASHLESS**

There are no refunds or exchanges on any ticket purchased for a State Farm Center concert, game or event.  Ticket prices are subject to change at the discretion of the show or venue.  In a situation where a show is cancelled or rescheduled, please contact the original point of purchase for information about refunds.

• No Saturdays or Sundays except days of shows or games or ticket on-sale dates. 
• The Ticket Office is open for shows: Saturday or Sunday at 2pm (time may vary based on show start time). For Illini Basketball games, 1 1/ 2 hours before game time, subject to change at any time for any event. The ticket office windows will also open for on-sales at the on-sale time only and will only remain open approximately 2 hours after the on-sale begins or when the line is gone.
• Holidays: State Farm Center is closed on major holidays unless an event is taking place at the venue. Ticket Office hours may vary on holidays. Please call 1-866-ILLINI-1 (866-455-4641) for exact hours of operation.

Ticket Office Will Call

Pre-purchased tickets via StateFarmCenter.com or by phone can be picked up at the Illinois Ticket Office Will Call windows located inside the main west lobby of State Farm Center beginning (2) days after the on sale. The customer whose name is on the order must present their valid photo ID to collect the tickets.

If a customer wishes to collect tickets that are not in his/her name, the original purchaser must call the Illinois Ticket Office and request another name be added as an alternate pick-up. The Illinois Ticket Office is prohibited from providing will call tickets to anyone other than the individual whose name is listed on the order or has been added to an order as an alternate pick-up.

Children's Tickets

• For most concerts: under 2 years do not need a ticket, but they must sit on the lap of the ticket holder. All children 2 years and older require a ticket to enter. There are shows that require everyone to have a ticket. For all family shows, the policy varies by show so please check each individual event on StateFarmCenter.com for more information.
• Fighting Illini Basketball games: Age 2 and under need a ticket, which can be purchased for $5 (lap seat). Women’s games, age 2 and under are not required to have a ticket.

Old Dominion Announce 2023 No Bad Vibes Tour

Old Dominion is setting out to bring the happiness on their newly announced 2023 No Bad Vibes tour, set to kick off in January.

The 31-date trek gets underway in Evansville, IN on January 19 and will travel to cities across North America including Green Bay , Albany , Reading , and Jacksonville before coming to a close in Lake Tahoe, NV on June 30.

The band is also scheduled to play two back-to-back shows, first at Key West's Coffee Butler Amphitheater on March 31 and April 1, and again at Colorado's famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 27 and May 28.

The No Bad Vibes Tour takes its name from their latest single, "No Hard Feelings."

"At an Old Dominion show, I think we just want people to feel happy," frontman Matthew Ramsey shared in a statement. "They should feel like they got to forget about whatever is bothering them or whatever's weighing them down at that point in time. Just come hang out with us, and escape for a couple hours. Then hopefully they walk out feeling a little lighter than they walked in."

The band announced their tour earlier this week during an appearance at Whiskey Jam stage, a spot that's near and dear to them as it's where they got their start. And it's no surprise that they've chosen a number of Whiskey Jam artists to join them on the road, with acts including Kassi Ashton , Frank Ray , and Greylan James serving as support throughout the tour's run.

Who are old dominion.

American country music band Old Dominion emerged in 2007, hailing from the music city itself, Nashville, TN. They wouldn't take their first step into the spotlight, though, until 2015, when they released their self-titled EP. Old Dominion's style has been described as contemporary country with influences of pop and rock. They have released a total of four studio albums, including Meat and Candy (2015), Happy Endings (2017), Old Dominion (2019), and Time, Tequila & Therapy (2021). Old Dominion have won several awards over the course of its career, including Group of the Year at the 2022 ACM Awards. The band includes frontman Matthew Ramsey, guitarist Trevor Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, and bassist Geoff Sprung, and guitarist Brad Tursi.

About Old Dominion

Old Dominion is an American five-member country music band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of Matthew Ramsey (lead vocals), Trevor Rosen (guitar, keyboards), Whit Sellers (drums), Geoff Sprung (bass guitar), and Brad Tursi (guitar). Their music is contemporary country with rock instrumentation, and has pop and hip hop overtones. They released their first self-titled EP in 2014, followed by the 2015 album Meat and Candy on RCA Records Nashville, which includes the No. 1 single "Break Up with Him".
