Battlefield Tour with Leger Holidays - Memorable and emotional experience with excellent guide.

Guided tour of World War 1 battlefields with Leger Holidays (All Quiet on the Western Front). So very interesting we learnt so much from our guide Keith Quibell who was passionate and very knowledgeable. Keith went out of his way to make sure we all saw as much as possible but also found time to help with personal stories and visits. A big thank you to our drivers Gary and Simon who were brilliant and very smart too. Long days but well worth it we are already planning another trip. Thank you Keith, Gary and Simon for making our holiday extra special.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour last week. Thank you to all involved. Our guide, Gary, made for a wonderful trip; bringing the stories and places we visited to life with his breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm. The coach was excellent (well worth booking Luxuria), very comfortable and kept spotless by Adam, our driver; refreshments were always available - especially welcome were the cold drinks as every day was hot & sunny... the ice machine was kept very busy! Adam gave us a lovely smooth ride and his skill and in manoeuvring the vehicle was amazing. We stayed in the Hotel Alize in Mouscron which was very comfortable with helpful staff and good choices at breakfasts. Gary and Adam were able to recommend some good restaurants nearby for evening meals & drinks. We found the organisation of the trip by Leger staff, both during our holiday and customer services beforehand, were excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble. This was our first time travelling with Leger, it’s not going to be the last.

We have just returned from Belgium/France with Leger on their All Quiet On The Western Front tour, it was a very good holiday great trips out and great information from our Battlefield guide, the drivers on our tour were also bri lliant, we stayed at the Alize hotel in Mouscron, the rooms were very nice the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good, if you are a history buff I would recommend this tour with Leger Holidays.

Fantastic WW1 Battlefield Tours with Leger to Belgium, could not fault anything. Tour guide Gary was superb, his knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding. Visited many monuments, museums and battle grounds, packed so much in a few days, all excellent. Our drivers Mark & Gary were were superb, managed to get round the tightest roads with no problem, great knowledge of local areas and great sense of humour.

A very informative 5 day, 4 night tour starting at the stunning Tyne Cot Cemetery and visiting many sights around Ypres, Arras and the Somme. I had visited some of the sights before but being on a guided tour, with a very knowledgeable guide, Tim, meant a lot of very interesting, previously unknown information was provided. The personal stories told at each cemetery were moving. The transfer journeys were well organised and the coach crew excellent. The Alize Hotel, Mouscron was very comfortable and in a quiet location, with some nice places to eat nearby.

Just returned from a 4 night ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ tour. Our guide was Keith Quibell who was superb and brought to life many of the sites with his knowledge and enthusiasm. The tours were expertly organised and of a very high quality. The only complaint I have is the hotel Leger used, as we were put in the Hotel Horizon at Ghislenghien and this hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere which is bad enough but even worse is the lack of choice with regards to food, as there was a very limited choice to choose from, and being in the middle of nowhere it wasn’t like any of us could go anywhere else to eat. Kinda took the gloss of what otherwise was a very good tour.
