Kiss Announce ‘Absolute Final Shows’ of Their Farewell Tour

Nearly three years after Kiss announced the final leg of what was supposed to be their final trek, the band has plotted the final final string of dates on their End of the Road Tour .

Trumpeted as “the absolute final shows of their final tour,” the farewell leg kicks off Oct. 29 in Austin, Texas and hits arenas across the U.S. and Canada before the makeup comes off — for good? — with a two-night stand at Kiss’ hometown Madison Square Garden in New York.

“Kiss was born in New York City. On 23rd Street. Half a century ago. It will be a privilege and honor to finish touring at Madison Square Garden, 10 blocks and 50 years from where we first started,” the band said of the final two gigs, Dec. 1 and 2, at the World’s Most Famous Arena.

KISS announces a final extension to its ‘End of the Road’ farewell tour

The legendary rock band Kiss has announced its final tour dates, taking a spin across North America and ending with a final bow in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. 

The “End of the Road Tour" lists 19 shows, kicking off Oct. 29 in Austin, Texas; hitting stops in California, Washington, Illinois and Canada; and closing with two final shows in New York City on Dec. 1 and 2. 

The iconic rockers, who kicked off their career in New York City, said ending the tour in Manhattan will bring their careers full circle. 

“KISS was born in New York City. On 23rd Street. Half a century ago. It will be a privilege and honor to finish touring at Madison Square Garden, 10 blocks and 50 years from where we first started,” the band said. 

The band’s lineup includes two original members, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, along with drummer Eric Singer and guitarist Tommy Thayer. Some of the band's biggest hits are “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Detroit Rock City” and “Heaven’s on Fire”

Kiss Announce 2013 Canada Tour

Kiss have been called many things throughout their storied career, positive and negative. But even their biggest detractors could never call them lazy. The band has booked a summer tour of Canada.

Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles is reporting that Kiss will spend a month in Canada, playing not just its biggest cities, but also smaller towns, some of which they have never played before. Beginning July 5 in Victoria, British Columbia, the tour will make its way east before ending on Aug. 4 in St. John's, Newfoundland.

On July 20, however, they will make their way back across the border to headline the Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisc. Also on the bill for the four-day festival will be kindred spirits (and occasional touring partners) Motley Crue , Warrant and Whitesnake .

Forty years after their first concert , Kiss will be spending much of 2013 outside of the United States. They will perform 12 shows across Europe from June 1 - 22.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are keeping a little breathing room between them ... quite literally it seems, 'cause they're opting for air kisses over real smooches in public!

The couple -- who have been through the wringer in recent weeks -- stepped out with Ben's mom Chris in Santa Monica Sunday but avoided any lip contact whatsoever.

We're not just talking mouth-to-mouth either ... 'cause they straight up avoided pecks on the cheek too -- choosing instead to go with the classic socialite air smack.

BA gave a thumbs up to the camera while walking with J Lo, and the two strolled arm-in-arm for a second or two ... but, quite frankly, there isn't a whole lotta contact between them.

Plus, Ben's mom's hanging out with them ... so, safe to say this isn't some kind of romantic rendezvous.

It's the second time photogs have caught Jennifer out this weekend. As we told you ... she walked into a studio in L.A. Friday looking a bit worse for wear -- photos taken hours after she announced the cancelation of her tour.

She says she canceled the tour to focus on her family ... a good reason to back out of her commitments, given all the difficulties between her and Affleck.

Remember, the two are no longer living together ... but, they've made an effort to seem somewhat united, including attending Ben's daughter Violet 's graduation -- though their hand-holding appeared very tense .

At the very least, the two are spending a lot of time together ... but, this air kiss won't fill fans of the couple with confidence.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez showed affection at a recent family event amid strain in their marriage . 

On Sunday, June 2, the couple reunited as they attended Affleck’s 12-year-old son Samuel's basketball game in Santa Monica, Calif. 

The pair were pictured sharing a kiss on the cheek as they greeted one another, before heading inside the YMCA with Affleck’s mother Chris Anne Boldt.

Lopez, 54, wore a black long-sleeved top and blue jeans for the outing, while Affleck, 51, sported a pair of blue jeans, which he paired with a maroon T-shirt under a red corduroy and shearling jacket. The actor's wedding ring could be seen on his finger during the outing as he carried a basketball.

Affleck's ex-wife and Samuel’s mom, Jennifer Garner , was also pictured at the game. 

The couple’s latest outing comes shortly after Lopez canceled her summer tour . 

On Friday, May 31, Lopez announced that her This Is Me... Live tour is no longer happening and she is "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,” per a statement from Live Nation.

She also shared in a statement on her On the JLo website, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

The tour was originally set to run from June to August.

The day before canceling her tour, Lopez was pictured with Affleck as they supported his daughter Violet , 18, at her graduation ceremony. The duo were photographed putting on a united front as they held hands at the milestone event.

Affleck's other children Samuel and Seraphina, 15, as well as Max and Emme, the 16-year-old twins Lopez shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, were also in attendance.

A source previously told PEOPLE that the pair’s relationship is " not in the best place at the moment ." The duo, who eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022 , have also been living separately , with the singer residing in the couple’s Beverly Hills marital home while Affleck stays in a rental a few miles away.
