Sophie booked a great holiday at a fantastic price AGAIN! She's so patient and always goes above and beyond when looking at the finer details of the holiday, such as requesting particular rooms and making sure they know when it's a special celebration. After being scammed with an online…

After being scammed with an online company I went to hays travel in whitleybay explained what happened and our budget Emily was patient and extremely helpful. With doubts in our minds we thought we weren't going to get a family holiday. After an hour of looking she found something a little over but worth it as themepark tickets were included. We are looking forward to this holiday.

Great service…again!

We booked our holiday at Hays Travel White Rose last year and were impressed with the service, so here we are again. With the help of Mollie, we’ve just booked a week in Lake Garda in July. We were very impressed again with the service, Mollie even managed to price match a holiday we had seen online, then made sure the booking included all our requirements, we made payment and we’re all set to go. We have done several reviews for Hays. All of them good, so we tried to find a negative this time. And failed miserably. Staff, attitudes, knowledge, friendliness, efficiency, helpfulness are all top notch. For me, the most comforting thing is the feeling of confidence that I have, knowing that someone who I trust completely is overseeing our bookings and taking all the pressure away. Also, that they will not be afraid to offer valuable advice if needed. Celine and all the staff are an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Steph has been absolutely amazing

Steph has been absolutely amazing, after the original holiday we wanted shot up in price, we contacted Steph in a bit of a panic with just over 2 weeks before our intended departure date for her help in locating a last minute holiday for us, 2 separate families. Steph quickly informed us that the holiday we originally wanted would not be suitable as there was not enough seats on the plane. Steph then found several other holidays that met our needs for us to review and chose from. Once we had chosen Steph booked the holiday checked us in and sorted our seats both there and back. Steph has also been on hand to answer any follow up questions! Can not recommend enough

Great service

We booked our first holiday abroad in about 12 years and again used Hays Travel in Newton Aycliffe and so pleased we did. So friendly, so helpful and so much information, made booking a holiday such a great experience. Great staff and a great service, took the stress out of trying to book it ourselves.

Hay there! They’re great

The staff members were so polite. Nicole Wall was the person who sorted my holiday. I changed the deal about 5 times, via email and in store. To some people that’d be annoying as, but to Nicole she was respectful and polite. Really understanding to in regards to my requirements. She called me directly a few times, to ensure I don’t miss out on the deal. She also stayed behind one of her shifts to ensure it got complete and that I had confirmation. Would definitely recommend and in the future wouldn’t hesitate in dealing with again.

Hadn't decided how we were going to get to Parislongchamp for Sunday 26/05/24. Thankfully Chloe at Hays Travel had the experience and knowledge to show us the options and we left very satisfied with the outcome. Our Journey planned and accommodation arranged. 5 star service.

Very good customer service

Very good customer service. We were dealt with in a mature and measured manner. This was our second holiday booked with the same agent because we receive such good service when we booked our first holiday. Again, this second experience was the same. Nothing was too much. The travel agent who dealt with us took an interest in us, got to know us and as a result was able to help put together the holiday for us. We have yet to go on this holiday but the service to date has been brilliant.

The experience was great,alot if effort was given to find the perfect holiday. The only down side was I found the holiday alot cheaper on line.I was led to believe that going a travel agent was getting you the cheapest deal but now I know to do it myself in future.

Not the usual package holiday

We wanted a different style of travel to the Balearics and Elise took on something that she had not experienced before. She came up with an itinerary that was flexible and easily adjusted to suit our needs. Very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Can I choose my own hours?

You choose the hours that you work, our self-employed packages are completely flexible. It's your business, so the more hours you put in, the more you get out.

Is there a minimum sales value?

There are no sales values put in place for you. What you achieve is simply down to you and how much hard work you put in.

How long will it take to be up and running?

Once we receive your signed consultancy agreement, we can have you up and running in four to six weeks.

What kind of support will I receive?

You are supported by travel industry professionals working in a number of head office departments. In addition to this you will have a dedicated homeworking support team as well a business development team who are on hand to answer queries and give you advice on how to market your business.

Is there any out-of-hours support?

Absolutely, many of our departments are open well in to the evening and on weekends; we are on hand to help and support you.

What happens when I go on holiday?

We have a customer service team who can help with bookings and queries on existing bookings whilst you are away.

How much can I earn?

That is entirely up to you, the more you put in the more you get out. The earning potential is unlimited. Our top sales-people all say that they make more now, than they ever could working in a branch/call center. Several of our homeworkers' profit was over £100k last year, of which they receive 60%.

Are there monthly management fees?

The Academy New to Travel Models have no monthly management fee for the first 12 months. The fee will then be £55 per month. The Experienced Travel Professional PTC Models, the management fee is £55 per month.

Is there an upfront deposit for the New to Travel / Academy model?

Yes, if you choose the New to Travel Academy model, you will be required to pay a upfront deposit of £2400 inclusive of VAT. This equates to 6 months of your New to Travel Academy payment upfront and is non refundable.

Will the Leads Supported model have any expectations of me?

In order to make the Leads Supported model work for you, you will need to ensure you have a working pattern you can commit to be online ready to take calls, emails or live chat. Your Business Development Coach will support you with conversion of the leads and offer coaching and development where needed & can share with you the busiest times of the day to work to assist with your planning.

What is the payment plan option for the New to Travel Academy model?

You will pay the upfront deposit of £2400 inclusive of VAT at time of purchase. This will cover the first 6 months of trading. In month 7 for a remaining term of 18 months, you will pay £400 per calendar month.

Irkutsk Airport ( IKT  IATA ) is one of Russia 's most important and receives international flights from Mongolia , China , South Korea , Thailand , and Uzbekistan . Domestic flights are available from most major Russian airports, including: Saint Petersburg , Moscow , Khabarovsk , Yekaterinburg , Vladivostok , and many others.

By train [ edit ]

Despite the importance of Irkutsk Airport, most travellers still arrive via the Trans-Siberian Railway , which stops at (from west to east): Taishet (junction with the Baikal-Amur Mainline ), Nizhneudinsk , Usolye-Sibirskoe , Angarsk , Irkutsk , among other less frequented settlements.

By car [ edit ]

Baikal Highway crosses the region from west to east. A bus from Ulan-Ude connects Irkutsk with Buryatia.

Get around [ edit ]

Bratsk and Ust-Orda are accessible via the Baikal-Amur Mainline from the Trans-Siberian Railway junction at Taishet.

Stay safe [ edit ]

• While being in woods, beware of snakes that are commonly warming in the sun on the stones. There is not many of them but some may be vipers.
• The other problem of this (and other regions of the North Hemisphere) is ticks. Their bites may be infectious. Usually vaccinations are taken beforehand.

Irkutsk Airport is a useful hub to jump off to different parts of the country.

For closer destinations, most will travel by the Trans-Siberian Railway , which leads to Kansk and further Krasnoyarsk in the west and to Ulan Ude in the east.

The Baikal-Amur Mainline , which runs on a parallel track to north of the Trans-Siberian, begins at Taishet in western Irkutsk Oblast and on to Severobaikalsk .
