A Top NYC Food Tour on TripAdvisor
My boyfriend and I decided to take a food tour of Chinatown and Little Italy to try some new foods and learn about the culture/ history of these neighborhoods and Hannah did not disappoint! As a picky eater, this was a great way to open up a bit more while learning + sightseeing the area. Hannah provided great insight into how these neighborhood + cuisine developed, answered tour and non-tour related questions, and made this a great experience for us. You could tell Hannah truly enjoys sharing this experience and I would recommend this to tourist and locals alike!
A wonderful experience with great food, lots of history, and fun! Shout out to our guide Lily who absolutely made the experience. She was knowledgeable and added lots of fun to the tour!! 11/10, would recommend and even more so if Lily is the guide!!
This tour is amazing. Liz, our guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. We had an array of delicious food from various ethnicities (and plenty to fill you up). We enjoyed learning the history of Nolita and walking around to see it. I also love this is a woman owned small business. I highly recommend the tour!
Liz S was amazing and a great tour guide! She gave the history and information about what we were eating and we learned a lot on the trip.
Amazing tour - Maryana was THE BEST. Delicious food and so much history, perfect activity to do with teens.
The tour was amazing! I consider myself a foodie and this met all my needs. Valerie was the BEST tour guide - she is full of energy and made the entire tour so much fun. I asked what other tours she did just so I can come back! Definitely would recommend 10/10!!
We took 4 food tours while on our trip and this one is by far the best! Patrick was FANTASTIC and got us trying foods that we never would have stumbled upon on our own. We sampled tons of wonderful food and learned so much history about the city. We left full and will definitely do it again next visit!

9. New York City Pierogi Walk
Past the seedy vape shops and tattoo parlors on St. Mark’s Place, you’ll find the East Village’s borscht belt. The Polish, Ukrainian and Eastern European immigrants who moved into the nabe in the ‘30s brought pierogies, kielbasa, blintzes and potato pancakes with them. Join a two-hour pierogi walk to savor the neighborhood’s history and food in one fell swoop.
10. The Original Cupcake Tour of Greenwich Village
If your main motivation for traipsing around a city is the promise of sweet treats, then this Greenwich Village cupcake tour is the one for you. Made up of seven tastings and trips to iconic venues such as Magnolia Bakery and Molly's Cupcakes, your dessert cravings will be well and truly satisfied by the end of this sugar-centric adventure. You'll also get to customize your own cupcake and pay a bonus visit to Amorino for some world-class gelato.

REVIEWERS CALL OUR TOURS THE "BEST FOOD TOURS" IN NYC!
Very enjoyable. Great way to get a taste of one of Manhatten's neighborhoods, whether you are a tourist or a local. Our guide shared many wonderful stories about the history of various sites and we learned so much that was very fascinating!
Loved the whole feel of this tour. The old versus the new cuisine - the authentic stores and the quality of the food was excellent. Matt was extremely easy going very knowledgeable and I definitely would recommend taking this tour if you have never visited the Lower East side - even if you live here in NYC :))
We had a great tour! It was cool to learn the history of the Lower East Side and the food was delicious. Our guide was knowledgeable and did a wonderful job being prepared with plates, silverware, napkins etc. he got us in and out of even the busier spots.
We had the best time! We're New Yorkers but got this tour as a wedding gift. It was a great way to spend an afternoon getting to know the neighborhood!
My husband and I had a great time on the Pizza, Beer and History tour. We got the tour as a wedding gift and we're so glad we did! We live in NYC and Adam, our awesome guide, still had tons of facts and info that we'd never heard before. And of course the pizza was delicious! Highly recommend whether you live in NYC or are visiting.
My daughter and I loved this tour. Great food and lots of it. Matt was very knowledgeable of the area and the people. Definitely recommend.
I just got back from taking a tour and I can't wait to take my next one! I had so much fun and our guide was fantastic. And the food- it was so good! I highly recommend checking out one of these tours!
It was a great way to get introduced to a number of restaurants that we otherwise might never have happened into. Some of the best falafel, great Cuban food, and fun customizing cupcakes.
My boyfriend and I did the Lower East Side Tour with Matt and it was great! Matt knew so much history and really made the tour fun. The places we went were awesome too. I can't wait to do our Food Truck Tour in December.

Due to the nature of creating a well balanced and thoughtful gastronomy experience, many of our tours are unable to accommodate certain dietary restrictions. Please contact us prior to booking your tour to see if we are able to accommodate your dietary needs.
We chose the Greenwich Village district for our New York City food tour because of the district's diverse restaurant scene, deep-rooted history, architecture, and its timeless charisma. While the rest of the city was subject to the 1811 grid system, the Village was able to escape this fate because of its charming, meandering streets.
The powers that be could not be bothered to try to reroute the winding streets found here. But their loss was our gain! This was a big win, both for those residents and for us because we get to take a step back into time and stroll outside of city life without actually leaving the city!
