George Dalaras, the “Greek singer of five continents,” will get the summer program of the CT Garden Festival under way with a global musical journey with a set list featuring both Greek and international music.

The renowned Greek singer will be accompanied on stage by Violeta Ikari and Aspasia Stratigou.

The concert is the first of a series of concerts to be held as part of the CT Garden Festival, featuring many prominent Greek artists.

The festival is being organized by the Christmas Theater and will be held in the Galatsi Olympic Park.

The concerts start at 9 p.m. with ticket prices ranging from 15 to 25 euro depending on the seating. Tickets are available online at www.viva.gr and www.ct.gr, or by phone on 211.770.1700.

George Dalaras is one of Greece’s biggest contemporary music stars and a living legend of the music industry. Rising to early-career fame for reviving rembetika – Greek blues – he is driven by a desire to share this unique sound with the world, and in doing so has built an international reputation as an icon of Greek music culture. 

Over five decades, he has released 70 albums; sold more than 20 million records; played over 500 shows around the world; and collaborated with music heavyweights including Sting, Peter Gabriel and Bruce Springsteen, among others.

Now, Dalaras will travel to Melbourne to perform an exclusive benefit concert in celebration of the Hellenic Museum’s 15th anniversary, Saturday 20 May 2023 at Margaret Court Arena.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour coming to AMC theaters as concert film: How to see it

T aylor Swift's Eras Tour was one of the biggest events and hottest tickets of the year. If you missed out on seeing it live, you'll have another chance to experience it.

The Eras Tour will come to AMC movie theaters as a concert film in North America in October.

"The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon," Swift posted on social media Thursday morning.

The tour came to New Jersey and MetLife Stadium back in May with sellout crowds and Swifties "Taylorgating" in the parking lot before the show.

The movie showings start Oct. 13 and tickets are on sale now at amctheatres.com. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing are encouraged, Swift posted.

The AMC website showed a wait time of several minutes Thursday morning due to "high traffic volume."

While Ticketmaster was the official selling partner for Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets , thousands of fans were previously left out of luck before the verified presale by Ticketmaster even ended. Fans had to sign up for the presale and be “invited” for a chance to buy tickets. And while the intention was good — no competing with bots for the best seats — few people actually got the chance to place an order.

And while Swift’s run of U.S. dates initially were scheduled to wrap up in Los Angeles, just as August started to already slip away, the star announced that the Eras Tour would make a comeback next fall and wintertime in 2024, with a slew of North American dates scheduled in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis, before heading to Toronto for six dates at the Rogers Centre.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era 😝 Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!” Swift shared in a post on social media August 3.

Swifties who want to score Eras Tour tickets for the newly announced stops had to register using Ticketmaster ‘s Verified Fan registration , which closed on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. ET. Now, Ticketmaster’s Verified Onsale for Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis tickets have also since closed. If you didn’t get lucky enough to buy Taylor Swift tickets this round, here’s where else you might find stubs if they sell out.

Your best bet to find Swift tickets online now is likely to go through a reseller if you don’t get them through Ticketmaster ‘s Verified Fan registration and Verified Fan Onsale, with many of them offering discounts or promo codes that you can use for Taylor tix.

Obviously, Eras Tour tickets surrounding the main stage will be the priciest but you might find some decent prices next to the secondary stages.

Taylor Swift's 3 new Eras Tour openers have connections to Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, and Imagine Dragons. Here's everything to know about the rising stars.

• Taylor Swift has recruited three rising stars to perform during The Eras Tour in London.
• Mette, Griff, and Benson Boone will join Paramore as tour openers at Wembley Stadium.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour cast is expanding.

Swift, who's currently in the midst of the tour's European leg , has already welcomed an array of artists to share her stage, including Phoebe Bridgers , Sabrina Carpenter, MUNA, Gayle , Gracie Abrams, and more. But on Monday, Swift announced that she'd recruited three more rising stars.

Mette, Griff, and Benson Boone will join Paramore as openers for Swift's set of London shows: Mette will perform on Friday, June 21; Griff on Saturday, June 22; and Boone on Sunday, June 23. (Swift will return to Wembley Stadium for five additional dates in August, but those openers have not yet been announced.)

"Thought this might be a fun time to announce the first group of opening acts I'll be adding to the London shows, going on before Paramore," Swift wrote on her Instagram Story. "I chose artists whose music I love listening to, and I can't wait for them to add an extra jolt of excitement to our shows."
