I have used Travel Republic many times before. I have just booked with them again and the ease of booking online was just as straightforward and easy. They have very good discounts and any questions you may have are answered quick and efficiently. I would recommend Travel Republic for your holiday packages or just your hotel stays for any where in the world.

All bookings were processed with ease and liked the options of staggered payments. The app was easy to use with all relevant details. Didn’t have any issues with the bookings. Booked excursions with TR also as they were pretty competitive. Wasn’t much flight details could have provided link to the website so had to download the emirates app to do all the necessary checking and seat allocations etc. Possible allow the excursions vouchers to be accessed offline if you don’t access to WiFi or have data. Overall had a good experience with travel republic and will definitely use them again.

Easy to book without any fuss

Well the price was right. Every thing was easy to book and the option to pay Monthly. Ideal location for a great holiday and a great price. And added bonus Transfers booked at the same time. Travel Republic is a great place to book a holiday.

Good holiday but horror at start

TravelRepublic gave us Hotels Group name in the booking confirmation and the taxi pickup dropped us at a hotel which denied having any booking. Ofcourse i tried calling Travelrepublic at about 7pm uk time (even on a 24hr phone line) multiple times but no use. Later to be told at hotel that there are 11 hotels of 'Pickalbetros hotels and Resorts' each with a different tag name. We had to take our own cab and goto each hotel to check and finally got lucky at 4th hotel which had our booking! spending quite a bit of money and reaching at midnight. So will not recommend TravelRepublic

Payment difficulties…

I found it very difficult to make the payment and tried using 2 different credit cards. The booking process was straightforward and my booking confirmation came through very quickly

Transfer Issues in…

I've used Travel Republic many times in the past and never experienced any issues till this break. Booking and paperwork all good just ruined by being messed around on our return transfer. My son and I where on separate booking references but we booked identical speedy shuttle options as my son is autistic so like an uncomplicated journey with minimum other travellers and pick up drop offs. Dalaman to Oludeniz all good and as paid for. Oludeniz to Dalaman we were disgusted. My son and I where picked up on time but then taken to Fethiye to be put onto a large coach size public bus. I challenged and was told it was direct no stops, NOT true, it stopped many times letting people on and paying as they went. My son was made very uncomfortable and the time of transfer nearly doubled, most definitely not what we paid for. We will not use Travel Republic for the transfer part of our holiday again and for info it was Koral doing the transfers locally.

Top service as standard

Called up due to ambiguous wording in desired apartment. Helpful agent quickly checked and answered query efficiently. TR have always been my goto for many years as they're professional and decisive, this was especially shown during the Covid scandal! That's when a company shows its true colours and TR totally proved their worth. Only thing they could improve on when paying initial deposit is to provide the last four digits of the card used when reminder emails are sent out for the balance to be paid. Other than this easy to rectify proactive suggestion (especially to assist customers with multi bookings) TR offer a great service at all stages of travel and that is worth its weight in gold!

Bad Time at Gorkem hotel they refused…

Bad Time at Gorkem hotel they refused to refund me for the accomodation incurred. I had a really bad time at this hotel, which was booked through Travel Republic. The staff made me feel unwelcome, and the breakfast was dire—a half slice of sausage if I was lucky, not enough to feed a cat. The room was poorly attended; one wet bath towel was left outside to dry and was not changed. The cleaner left the door open, leaving the room unsecured. There was no fridge, and the shower water was warm if I was lucky. The room was cold in the evening. When I came back late after enjoying my day away, I ordered a drink from an unmotivated barman. The security guard mentioned that the barman wanted to go to bed soon. Overall, the room was basically clean but had no fridge, a poor shower, and poor room security. The customer service was poor, and the staff were unmotivated. Additionally, calls from an adjacent mosque at 4:00 a.m. woke me in the early hours of the morning. Travel Republic was responsible for this fiasco. I would give this hotel a rating 2.

Cant contact anyone after returning

Can't contact anyone from Travel Republic after returning. Customer services say we dont take calls about complaints and ring complaints number and complaints have pre recorded message saying if you have returned then hang up because they will not discuss complaint unless still at resort. So impossible situation.

I've been using travel Republic for…

I've been using travel Republic for years and stayed at gemolos 22 on many occasions, but never again, was a nitemare from the beginning, had to arrange alternative accommodation on advice from travel Republic because of the condition of the apartment which we where given, which was through a third party agency, broken electrical sockets, bare plaster walls rusty and dirty taps , broken furniture ,and was filthy dirty. Since then we've been informed the third party agency is refusing to give us our money back, we never stayed in the apartment. Jumbo tours is the agency involved. Worst holiday we've ever had.

Poor customer service

Your staff member couldn't offer return flights to dubai staying 5 days in 1 hotel and 4 days in another. He said it wasn't possible to organise on the company system. I asked for a price on the First Collection Business Bay Dubai for 4 nights and 2as givencs price of £1150. I said it was £708 on the travel republic website and he was overcharging me and he told me that the prices he was waiting were "live" prices. I ended the call and went to travel republic website and booked it. Poor customer service

It was very easy to call the customer…

It was very easy to call the customer service and book the holidays buy paying the low deposit's. The customer service representative i spoke too was very helpful in booking the 2 hotels that we want. You get your email confirmation within few mins and they have rates little cheaper than compared to Expedia and other providers. This review is only for booking aspect of holiday as the holiday is in future.

Existing bookings

I really love this app, so easy to use and navigate through but previous holidays have always been saved to the existing bookings to keep track but now they are not, my current booking doesn’t show up now and I keep having to log into the website if I want to pay to the holiday, the app is supposed to be for convenience, please get this sorted.

Used TR to travel in a group of 5 to Magaluf in September. Unbeatable prices compared to Jet2, Lastminute and Loveholidays. Customer service are super friendly, helpful and professional, apart from the odd handler who obviously is there to collect a pay check. Easy to book, easy to arrange payment schedules/methods. Bad points: app interface could be smoother, less confusing cost breakdown i.e; flights = , insurance = … to this date I don’t know the breakdown and one of our flights were cancelled so I don’t even know if we were overcharged for the new flights. That said, I’ve given a 5* review on the basis that TR has access to resorts and hotels that are otherwise fully booked directly and the amazing prices with comprehensive deals. The other group we flew with they paid £520pp for their stay, we paid £290pp with the emission of breakfast and the pool parties.

Cancelled booking??

Although I understand things are difficult in the current situation I feel very frustrated that I cannot talk to anyone directly. TR cancelled a holiday I had for beg. August and then received another email several days later to say they’d be taking the payment balance of my holiday out of my bank. After trying to phone several times during updated times for the office to be open and emailing several times with no acknowledgement or reply I feel I need to let people know. So now I do t know whether I’m supposed to go on the holiday as it still shows in my bookings, if the payment will be taken out of my bank even though they’ve said it’s cancelled or that they have received the option of ‘refund’ as they offered on original cancellation. I wouldn’t book with this company right now, seems very dodgy!!!

Traveler demand in the U.K. hit an all-time high in 2023 according to Phocuswright’s travel research report U.K. Consumer Travel Report 2024 . While some economic challenges persist, overall outlook towards future travel also remains largely positive. Here are 5 positive stats that point to a strong U.K. travel market:

• Travel demand among Britons has surged to record levels. More than eight in 10 U.K. adults, 40 million in total, traveled in 2023.
• The uptick in travel incidence was strong across all age groups. Average per-group spend increased by nearly £1K over last year, although average trip frequency remained essentially flat. Most likely, this reflects increasing travel costs, though some may have taken more lavish holidays than before.
• Travel remains the top discretionary spend priority among U.K. adults.
• Significantly more international trips (both within and outside Europe) were reported this year, potentially at the expense of domestic trips.
• In 2023, trip planning timelines continued to extend and elongate with nearly six in 10 now beginning planning more than three months out.
