Concord Neo

The Neo is Concord's flagship stroller. It was released in 2008. It has a unique design. The frame has a specific Y shape in the front. The wheels with all-round suspension ensure balanced and smooth ride. The bucket seat is placed higher. It can be tilted to a fully reclined position. The leg rest can also be adjusted. For greater safety, it is possible to lock the 5-point harness so that a child cannot undo it. A thin apron is hidden in the swing-away bumper bar. The hood is complemented by the included detachable awning.

With the purchase of accessories, you can convert the stroller into any desired set, or you can buy a complete stroller system. You have a choice of two types of carrycots. The Sleeper creates a Travel Set - it is sturdier and can also be used in the car. The Scout creates the Mobility Set - it can be folded to a size of a handbag. You can also attach a Jané or Be Cool carrycot to the chassis.

You can identify the older models by the smaller mesh shopping basket and a non-extendable hood with no peek-a-boo window. Front wheels as well as the seat were somewhat smaller. Another difference of the older models is the milder suspension without visible springs.

The Neo was also released in limited editions: the 2016 Viver Qualidade, the Special Edition Milan or the Jungle, and the Emerald Limited Edition and the Ivory Limited Edition in 2017. It is also available in the luxurious limited Carbon edition with a carbon chassis.

Really awesome

Really an awesome stroller, it's just a pity that it has a bucket seat, which bothered us. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. The construction is solid, scratch-resistant (which cannot be said about the Concord Wanderer). Quick to fold, doesn't take up much room in the trunk.

A bit heavier than others, but for me an absolute top. Easy to handle. The bassinet is not so huge, so I can fit it everywhere, and it doesn't get in the way. And what's great is that the bassinet can be used to carry a grandma in the car by strapping it with the harness.

It's mainly suitable for the city

It's quite alright, but it's mainly suitable for the city (small front wheels). Lightweight, portable.... I wouldn't buy it again because of that though.

It's quite ok. Very light. I liked the design - it looked modern, also the possibility of using the carry cot as a car seat.

But I have reservations: - I had a purple colour in combination with grey and black - the purple faded a lot, compared to e.g. the purple Britax I have at home, which keeps its colour - I don't like the shape of the cot that much - specifically the rotating mechanism at the end of the cot, which regulates the height of the baby's lying or sitting position in the cot, its appearance reminds me of toothpaste - the carseat has only a thinner slat as a roof, it could be thicker. In the car against the sun, it is enough; but if you want to put the egg on the frame and walk in cooler weather, not great.

Which baby carrier is compatible with the Neo stroller?

All Concord and Jané car seats fit the Concord Neo, no adapters needed.

My Concord Neo's rear wheels have already worn out. Been using it for 3 years. How do I get them replaced?

There's not that much you can do. This model was already discontinued and spare parts are never widely available. That means you can only try to write the manufacturer ( here's the contact form ) or go and browse through classifieds. This is what I would do - I'd try to find one pre-owned that has wheels in better condition or find a person that sells their own older stroller for parts.

P.S. Worn-out wheels are not a functional error, it's just normal after some time - especially with EVAN foam. If your stroller still works and you won't find a solution, you can still use it as it is. Otherwise, it might be it's just been used till the end.

Till what age we can use it?

The Concord Neo is a pram/pushchair that is officially usable up to 15 kg (around 3 years of age). As a reversible stroller , however, and a bucket-seat stroller as well, it is, of course, less spacious than a non-reversible pushchair or a buggy, so it will actually last you a bit less than the usual three years (also, moms using it confirm that). The real usage of the Concord Neo ranges around 18-24 months, and that is how long you will probably use it.

After that, most people pass to a lightweight, non-reversible stroller (the needs of the parents, as well as those of the child change around that time, and something simpler and more lightweight & compact, will be much more appreciated, believe me).

A complete travel package for your newborn, from early days in pram mode, to trips out in the car through to the toddler friendly pushchair seat.

A beautifully engineered and super-stylish pram and pushchair system from the German brand, that despite its low profile has many fans. The £800+ price tag might seem a bit on the steep side, but the package includes not only the buggy, but also the Scout carrycot and the Air Safe carseat. Each set also includes a stylish changing bag, a parasol, plus a rain cover, so you do get a lot for your cash.

But why are 3-in-1 travel systems so popular? Unlike a traditional pram they can be used in three different ways, firstly with a carrycot as a lie-flat pram for newborns, and also as a travel system by attaching a car seat to its chassis. This has the advantage of making travelling by car much more straightforward with a baby in tow, as you can move them from house to car and back again without have to pick up or disturb them. Once they’re bigger you can then move the 3-in-1 to its final configuration by removing the carrycot and attaching the pushchair seat. This means you can then use the pushchair well into the toddler years. The downside is that these models tend to be pretty heavy and bulky, and you’ll also have to have space to store all the pieces you’re not using. Luckily, the Scout carrycot can be folded down when not in use, which does help with storage.

Its full of clever and innovative features, like the Y-frame front axle that gives greater maneuverability, and the integrated wind and shower protector that’s hidden in the bumper bar. There’s also an extra large adjustable sun canopy made of high quality 3D stretch fabric with UV 50+ sun protection, that’s water resistant and washable, too. The pushchair seat can face forward or backwards and has a three-position recline plus a two-position leg rest to give sleeping tots more comfortable journeys. The seat can also be raised up to table height, making meals out easier in cafes and restaurants.

We also like the adjustable handle, meaning that parents of differing heights can push more comfortably, and that the parking brake is placed so it can be easily operated using just one hand.

Good afternoon, I can't remove the cover from the carrycot because it has the handles attached with 2 rivets in the front and 2 rivets in the back and there is no way to remove them in order to remove the rest of the cover.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would definitely recommend this product due to the fact how light it was which helps a lot when having to fold and unfold it into the car and transport it round.  It was a sturdy pram too and is easy to navigate even using one hand. Ideal that the covers of the carrycot unzip to b washed down.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It made my life easier when it came to transporting it around. It is much lighter than my own pram which I do love and have used for both my babies. This product is so light and is great that it all folds down so small and compact and all fits into the boot of my car.

The Concord Neo Special Edition travel system is great. The pram is easy to steer, easy to fold, easy to transport and it looks as though it's built to last. My baby certainly looked very safe and happy sitting in it. It is a bulky pram, but that just reassures me further to it's safety. My baby is very content to be sleeping in it, or sitting.

Advanced Mixology Story: Direct from Founder's Heart

Advanced Mixology was forged in the spirit of adventure and friendship to create high-quality artisan barware that is functional and affordable.   History   In 2014, as my best friend and I sat down at a local bar and ordered a couple of the newly popular Moscow mules in their proper copper mugs, the bartender told us we'd need to put down a fifteen dollar deposit for each mug. After a moment of laughter at the prospect of a deposit in exchange for a cocktail, she restated her request, this time with a tone of seriousness. The bar, she explained, had suffered a large number of copper mug thefts in the prior months and they weren't going to foot the bill any longer. We handed over our funds to secure the mug rental and turned to each other with a sense of wonder. If the good citizens of the decent part of town we lived in were making off with pockets and purses full of mugs, they must be difficult to purchase. Naturally we wanted some of our own, but we're not thieves, so we faced a bit of a conundrum.   We pulled out our phones and researched furiously. We found the offerings were either of poor quality or very expensive. Most were made with a stainless steel or nickel lining and had so little copper in them they weighed less than a quarter pound!   That night, over vodka, ginger beer, limes, and mugs we were afraid to damage for fear of losing our deposit, we began our journey. We would create a high quality, 100% copper mug at a fair and decent price.   This journey led us through India searching for artisans and manufacturers. A year after that night, we finally had a beautifully crafted, thick walled, 100% copper Moscow Mule mug that we would be proud of at any cost, but could be offered to you at a reasonable price. 5 Steps For Picking The Perfect Copper Mug

The problem which every customer faces is with identifying the perfect mug for your kitchen. To help out our customers we have created the 5 step process for picking the perfect copper mug. Step 1 (Style) - Decide between Classic or Barrel style of the mugs. Traditionally Moscow Mules have always been made in a straight walled (Classic style) copper mug, but feel free to pick the barrel style mugs if you like them. Step 2 (Copper Content) - Pick mugs made of 100% copper. Copper is an expensive metal, so make sure you get complete value for the money you are paying. Step 3 (Thickness) - Pick mugs with at least 18 guage thickness. The thickness of the copper makes a huge difference in the quality of the mugs. Thin walled cups get damaged very easily. Step 4 (Handle Joints) - Select a mug with welded joints. 10 years ago when the welding technology was not fully developed, people used rivets. Rivet joints leak overtime and can hide bacteria. Step 5 (Finish) - Select between hammered finish and plain finish. This is more of a personal preference but hammered mugs are usually stronger because of the internal stresses created as part of the hammering process.
