UK alt-metal crew Bullet for My Valentine have announced a Fall 2023 North American headlining tour.

The jaunt kicks off October 8 in Montreal — the lone Canadian date on the itinerary — and concludes with a November 10 gig in Orlando. Of Mice & Men and Vended (featuring the sons of Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan) are set to support.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale begins Thursday (July 27th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster using the code LEGEND. General ticket sales start Friday (July 28th) at 10 a.m. local time.

The tour marks Bullet For My Valentine’s first North American headlining run for in five years. “After five long years, we’re finally heading back to the USA and Canada for a proper headline tour,” said frontman Matt Tuck in a press release. “We cannot wait to play and see you all again — it’s been far too long.”

The band’s last full-length album release was a deluxe edition of their self-titled seventh album , originally released via Spinefarm in August 2022.

It was OK. I expected to be more energetic and charismatic, but they were fine. I am comparing to Three Days Grace show that was in the same stage and it was waaaaay more energetic and better. Also a lot of discomfort was by some drunk dudes that were mashing like everything without thinking about the rest. Of course its normal for this kind of concert, but I was going there rather to listen and sing great songs instead of protecting my girlfriend from random injuries.

Well that was so great than I can tell. BFMV is my favorite band ever ; I was 16 when I've discover it. That was my first concert. I'm almost 23, and I've seen the band became more aggressive...for my biggest pleasure.

Last night (20/11/2016 AB) spent so quick. 1h20 was like 10mns. The better songs have been played. I have jumped, screamed, sang all along. The crowd was like an unique crazy men. I've been squashed and pushed for my biggest pleasure. Just so perfect metal fans union.

Thank you so much to Matt, both Michael and Jamie for that show. A part of me is still there, enjoying. I'm quite sad about the fact the concert is over.

It was awesome. They played a mix new and old songs so you could enjoy the songs you know and love and get to know their newer work. BFMV played loud, played the crowd and the crowd returned the favor with energy.

Killswitch Engage played before Bullet for my Valentine. It sounded better than their albums which quite impressive since this is usually not the case.

Overall very good show and pretty nice venue (013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands)

Bullet For My Valentine Announce First North American Tour In Five Years

Bullet For My Valentine are returning to North America for their first headlining tour in five years.

The band will return Stateside in October for a month-long trek with support from Of Mice & Men and Vended, featuring the sons of Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan. The tour starts October 8th in Montreal and wraps up November 10th in Orlando, Florida.

“Attention please!! So after 5 long years we’re finally heading back to the USA and Canada for a proper headline tour!! We cannot wait to play and see you all again, it’s been far too long,” the band said in a statement. “We’re gonna be bringing our old friends in Of Mice & Men and heavy metal upstarts Vended along for the ride so get ready for some serious mosh pit action!! Make sure you pick up your tickets fast as we’re expecting them to fly out. VIP packages are also gonna be available on this tour for the first time in years. More info to follow. See ya there.”

In a recent interview with Mike James Rock Show , guitarist Michael “Padge” Paget talked about the band’s plans in the coming months:

“We’ve got a few more — 10 or 11 more — summer festivals out in Europe to play over the summer. Then we have a little break in, sort of, August-September, and we head out to America for a month or five, six weeks to do a headline run up there. I’m not too sure what’s gonna happen at the end of the year, if there’s anything in there yet. And then we’re gonna stop [touring] and start writing again. So ’24 we’ll be writing an album. And then 2025 we’ll be back. [2025 is] an anniversary of something big,” apparently alluding to the fact that 2025 will mark the 20th anniversary of [our] debut album, The Poison. ”

Bullet For My Valentine recently teamed up with Pendulum for new collab single “ Halo .” The band released a deluxe version of their latest self-titled album last year.

Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium announce 2025 The Poisoned Ascendancy tour

Whoa! Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium will be celebrating “the DNA of modern metal” by performing The Poison and Ascendancy in UK arenas next year…

Following some biiiiiiiig teasers , Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium have just announced an incredible 2025 arena tour!

Joining forces for the aptly-named The Poisoned Ascendancy tour, the two bands will be celebrating 20 years of their respective classic albums The Poison and Ascendancy, which both celebrate their big anniversaries next year.

The run will kick off at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff on January 26, before stopping in Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham. Then, it will wrap up at The O2 in London on February 1. Tickets go on sale next Friday, March 1, from 10am .

“I honestly can’t believe it's been 20 years since the release of The Poison, and what an incredible 20 years it’s been,” enthuses Bullet frontman Matt Tuck. “I feel so proud of what we’ve achieved as a band in the last two decades and it all started with that debut album.

“The Poison is such an important part of our lives musically and personally and we know the massive impact it had on the metal world on a global level. This tour will be made even more special as our brothers in Trivium are also joining us on the road to celebrate and play in its entirety their stunning album Ascendancy.”

“Bullet For My Valentine’s The Poison and Trivium’s Ascendancy are two records whose influence can be heard to this day, in the DNA of modern metal,” continues Trivium ’s Matt Heafy.

“It’s incredible to think of the impact the albums had when they came out in 2005. They were both like bolts of lightning. Both bands grew up independently of each other in different countries and separately from any movement or scene but both shared a common love of melodic heavy metal at the core; and both had similar meteoric rises right out of the gate.

“Trivium and BFMV were in such whirlwinds when our respective albums came out that we each never truly got to play together or sit back and celebrate during the maelstrom of constant touring, recording and globetrotting.

“But that’s what this anniversary tour is. It’s a celebration by the bands to the fans of an important era, and most importantly it’s an invitation to fans come and have an epic night with us and sing and rage and celebrate the awesome power of the music.”

TRIVIUM Driving guitar solos and throbbing rhythms make up the heavy metal produced by Orlando-based metalcore outfit Trivium. Since their start in 2000, the four-member band has sold more than a million albums and toured alongside other big-ticket metal acts like Iron Maiden, As I Lay Dying and GWAR. Their most recent effort, “Vengeance Falls,” surfaced in October 2013 and landed at No. 15 on The Billboard 200.

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Bullet for My Valentine’s first album, 2005’s “The Poison,” propelled them to unimaginable heights. That year saw the Welsh metallers graduate from supporting act to headlining the very same venues just months later. BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE released the deluxe version of its latest, self-titled album in August 2022 via Spinefarm / Search & Destroy . This extended release featured four brand new tracks, plus "Stitches" , a song previously only available as a Japanese exclusive. Following the CD and digital releases, a vinyl pressing launched on November 11.

Last summer, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE frontman Matt Tuck spoke to "Whiplash" , the KLOS radio show hosted by Full Metal Jackie , about the band's decision to pursue a more technical, aggressive direction on its self-titled album, which originally arrived in November 2021. The LP was written beginning in September 2019 with longtime producer Carl Bown , who co-produced the band's 2015 album, "Venom" , and produced and mixed 2018's "Gravity" .

"It just felt like the time was right," Matt explained. "It was just something that, when we wrote a couple of the key tracks that opened the door to letting the album what it is now, it just felt like the time was right.

"We came off the back off 'Gravity' , which was not a technical record. For us, that album was all about emotion, it was all about the story, it was all about the vocal performances and the lyrical content," he continued. "And it was more an emotive, personal kind of album. And this time around, it became clear, after we kind of found those couple of key tracks, that this album was very different — it was very technical; it was very in your face; it was very aggressive. And we just loved that they had that contrast, and it just had its own identity and had its own moment in time in the band's catalog now. And yeah, I think because we hadn't kind of shown that skillset for a long time — since 'Venom' — and having starved ourselves of writing in that way, in a sense, that as soon as we did, it was just like four or five years' worth of stuff was just kind of flooding out. It was just a natural thing, and we just rode the wave, and the more we kind of rode it, the more technical and aggressive the songs were becoming. And it was great. It just put a smile on our face that we could showcase the heavier, more technical side of the band."

In December 2021, Tuck was asked by NME whether he thinks BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE 's next album will be a mixture of "Gravity" — which he had previously described as "probably our most mellow/experimental record" — and the self-titled LP. He said: "It really depends. In a year's, two years' time, whenever we decide to kind of get involved with that, we're just gonna do what we do — we're gonna see what comes out, what feels natural, what makes us happy, what makes us scared, what makes us motivated. And coming off the back of 'Gravity' and this album, we're just gonna that whole process of confidence and no-fear attitude into the writing process, and as soon as we start smiling and high-fiving, that's when we'll know we're on the right track."

"Gravity" saw BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE 's catalog surpass one billion streams in the U.S. That accomplishment solidified BULLET 's status as one of the most elite bands in the hard rock scene.

The Pinnacle music venue is set to open in Nashville in 2025. Who they already have booked

Aeg presents vice president mike ducharme breaks down how feb. 2025-opening the pinnacle impacts nashville's evolving "musical ecosystem, landscape" with americana, country, edm and hip-hop shows..

The Pinnacle is slated to open in February, becoming the second 5,000-seat music venue in the roughly mile-long stretch northeast from Ascend Amphitheater to the concert hall's home at the new Nashville Yards complex.

Venue partner and event promoter AEG Presents Mike DuCharme spoke with The Tennessean about the venture.

He's the vice president of AEG Live's Nashville Regional Office. He's been on the ground in Music City for the past half-decade after traveling throughout America's Midwest and West, observing live music's sustainable growth at venues, including Denver's Mission Ballroom and Kansas City's Midland Theater. He also a hand in developing the "Red Dirt" Born and Raised Festival in Tulsa's suburbs.

When questioned about the value of Ascend Amphitheater and The Pinnacle being in such proximity, he said the new venue will allow for a year-round experience unimpacted by Nashville's decibel restrictions, as well as more stagecraft flexibility.

DuCharme released the names of those expected to perform in the forthcoming space.

Pre-sale for announced shows will be live on Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. CT, followed by general on-sale on Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. CT.

Nashville's venue landscape includes numerous "bucket list" venues. However, spaces like the Ryman Auditorium are nearly 150 years old and are now effectively built into cramped downtown footprints. Thus, pulling into the city with multiple production trucks and tour buses is difficult.

The Pinnacle, being a new space in an undefined and renovating area of Nashville, allows for artists to comfortably use the spot as a next-stop after selling out The Ryman — or if a national or global act fearful that The Ryman cannot handle their production necessities — they have a location available that makes Music City a feasible tour destination.

"Atmospheres, cultures and energies that aren't reflected in most Nashville shows deserve to blossom in this city," DuCharme said.

Communal space in a redefined community

The 19-acre plot housing the 88,000 square-foot Pinnacle will include its namesake bank and Amazon's 35-story mixed-use office buildings, the new home of talent bookers and managers Creative Artists Agency and the newly remodeled Union Station Hotel and Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Much sooner, though, apartment buildings and Ascension Saint Thomas Landing , a park along the railroad tracks, will also. That will feature a dog park, a small amphitheater and a potential pickleball court.

“We want everyone to feel like this is their space. You don’t have to live here to enjoy it. You don’t have to work here to enjoy it," added Nashville Yards' CEO Christian Parker to The Tennessean in Aug. 2024 .

Cultivating 'an entertainment district'

"This will not be a cold, commercial venue," said DuCharme, adding that the venue would provide a "genuine, communal" relevance that plays well with the plethora of historically significant spaces in the city will be necessary.

"Ideally, The Pinnacle is a space that is another beloved home venue for locals but also plays well with (Nashville's) tourism and travel business," the executive said.

DuCharme argued that the difficulties of costly parking and traffic snarl endemic to Lower Broadway are less likely to be an issue at Nashville Yards. Foremost, the venue will have its dedicated underground parking, making travel, especially for suburbanites coming from locales off of interstates 24, 40 and 65, relatively simple.

The venue's entrance will be a level above a floor dedicated to restaurants and retail concepts, which DuCharme hopes will "cultivate an entertainment district in the center of Nashville Yards' offices and residential areas."

'We went overboard with this venue's production abilities...'

The Pinnacle's open square ballroom floor with a second-level general admission balcony rail area nods to Denver's five-year-old Mission Ballroom.

Like Nashville, that city's growth required a space that was more of an open box to indoctrinate fans to appreciate genres and cultures unprecedentedly developing and expanding in the city.

Also, the main room will not just be acoustically treated for an enhanced sound experience. An extended rigging grid and house/broadcast service panel system for tours, events and broadcasts with pre-installed patch panels will also outfit the space best for concerts and Nashville's perpetual desire to host private events and live television productions.

"We went overboard with this venue's production abilities," said DuCharme, laughing.

A K2 L-sound system capable of comfortably amplifying music for crowds of 20,000 will inhabit an 88,000-square-foot venue.

The venue will also feature a 400-capacity rooftop venue/bar with open-air design, rain plan and private artist area meant to lure the growing number of Los Angeles and New York music industry executives relocating to Nashville who demand post amenities for events.

Redefining the meaning of 'Music City'

"Many venues serve spaces well throughout Nashville. However, what we're offering is what those venues do, on steroids," said DuCharme.

He argued genres like Americana and country deserve elevated offerings in Nashville. At the same time, EDM and hip-hop have a historical need for space to highlight next-level growth for both cultures and genres in the marketplace.

For him, The Pinnacle evolves Music City's "musical ecosystem and landscape."

"If Nashville is to grow how it has always been defined as Music City, it needs venues that welcome all types of music — and their fanbases — to feel welcomed and comfortable," he said.
