We got our visas here. It wasn't too hard and $80 a visa even for our toddler. Payments are checks or cash

We recently had experience with AV Travel. This is some feedback from the last tour ---- AV Travel - Your agency is the epitome of dishonesty and mediocrity, with no accountability to your clients. Please read again your advertisement about "pledging commitment for reliable, caring and quality services" and take necessary responsibility. Ignoring our collective concern is extremely unprofessional. AV US action is to kick the can down the road for all mishaps: - AV Vietnam office problem because our group was lodged in the bad wing of Vinpearl. Really? So obvious AV US goal is to increase your profit margin against your travelers' comfort and expectations. We paid AV US for this service not AV VN. - Horrible tour guide in Phu Quoc because he is only hired help. Not AV US duty to vet your vendors? Really? We paid AV US for this service. - Mistakes on airline tickets are passed to travelers. Really? Are you not a travel agency with the utmost responsibility to issue our tickets in accordance with passport information, a service that again we paid to AV US. - The tour leader is responsible for all communications and misinformation. Really? Was she also an agent or remunerated for leading the tour with granted AV authority? Again we paid AV US for this service. You should alter your mission statement to state that your agency is below average with no care for clients and proving unreliable services to highly dissatisfied clients. You are only looking for profit and any potential problem incurred is your vendors' or a non-AV employee tour leader's mistake ???!!!!

We have had several private tours with this agency. The 1st tours are OK but the quality is getting worse. May be it's because they start to know us so they think they can squeeze as much as they can out from this group including: * Tours are getting more and more expensive when compared to others * There is less option to chose from and they are not keen to accommodate changes/suggestions from our group. This is not right as we always want private your so to have flexibility to change * The last 2 ones are worse o For the Italy tour in Sep 2022, we have the same menus during the whole trip: rissetto - pizza all day long although in different restaurants. The tour guide who is also the owner start to threaten us about security, theft in Sicily and strongly suggest to hire security guards to be with us ! ( of course with extra fees). Aslo they advertise that they have experiences/knowledge of Europe, in fact they have no clue about the culture and the dining experiences over there. All their references in Sicily are from American movies about mafia! o For the VN tour in Dec 2022, they put us in resorts that are loud while there is one next door that is dedicated to senior ( they know us very well). When there is error in booking flight ticket, we have to pay for their error! So stay away from this agency, there are much nicer agencies in Orange County!

Excellent service with well planned tour. AVTravel deserved a 5 golden stars in service. We just came back from Best of Greece 2022 tour trip escorted by 2 expert tour guides Simone Nga and Viet Hung. Our group of 30 members were well care by Nga and Hung throughout the journey just like a big family living in the same house. They both so kind, polite, generous and professional. Willingness to do what ever it takes to make the best for the group. Transportation and hotel were good and high-end except one little suggestion about buffet dinner at the Titania hotel in Anthens needs to improve in quality of food to be better like it called 5 star hotel. We're very satisfied and enjoyed the trip with AVtravel and love to come back again and again. Highly recommended

I recently used them for my Vietnam trip this New Year. To be honest I had my doubts. I didn't not look forward to use AV TRAVEL since I had a horrible experience with them before. I tried to include it in this review but it was way to long so I had to cut it out. But my boyfriend told me that his friends and him have used them for their Vietnam trips and it wasn't bad. Our itinerary was Hanoi, Phu Quoc, Saigon, Can Tho (which my boyfriend and I opted out on), back to Saigon. We started in Hanoi. Our tour guide was a local tour guide named Hung (who AV hired). He was amazing. I can't express how knowledgeable and great he was. Our second stop was Phu Quoc. This is when everything started to crumble. As we were checking in at the airport we were told that my boyfriend middle name didn't match his passport. We couldn't understand how they got that middle name when clearly we sent our passports to them multiple times. Also as I mentioned my boyfriend was a repeated client. Our guide went to talk to the airline for us and was able to change his ticket. The tour guide who picked us named Thanh. He made very vulgar jokes on the the bus which made me feel very uncomfortable, especially being a female. We specifically asked not to go to the Pearl factory since we already been there the last time we went to Phuc Quoc and it wasn't on the itinerary as the list of things to do in PQ. But he kept pushing. We ended up all sitting there till he realized we were all just sitting there waiting to move to the next tour. By the time it was done it was getting late so we had missed out on the city tour. When we filed complaint with AV TRAVEL, they brushed it off saying that he was a freelance guy. We chose Vinpearl resort since we had such a great experience there on our last trip. Once we got there we noticed it didn't look anything like the hotel we stayed at before. But it was Vinpearl so we just thought it was remodeled. Later on we found out that vinpearl is separated into two wings. Instead of booking us the wing that we stayed at last time (only reason why we decided to go back to vinpearl) they put us in the cheaper wing. The day before we head to Saigon I was told by a third party that my bf had to pay $64 for the name error or else he would not be able to check in to go to Saigon. How unprofessional is it that you couldn't tell me personally but to have a third part told me. Not only that but also to threaten me that I wouldn't be able to check in. I told the 3rd party I will deal with them when I get back to the states. To think they would leave a repeat client stranded for $64. Luckily for us we had already dealt with the airline directly to correct all his flights. The night before we were heading back to the states we were notified again by a third party since we didn't go to Can Tho we would have to find our own ride to the airport. IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY DIDN'T IT STATE THAT IN OUR ITINERARY? Why did our itinerary show a pick up time with a confirmation voucher. That was never mentioned when we were asked about joining the Can Tho trip. When we called the driver he said he was supposed to take only 14 people to the airport. We told him that we were the original 14 people in the group so why aren't our name on that list. He called Us back saying he was told we weren't on that list. After complaining that a few of our friends already took earlier flights home and a few is staying later, so there would be less then 10 people why can't they take us on the 29 seater bus. They told us they can squeeze us in for $50USD. That was outrageous. The hotel told us that they can have a 7 seater car come take us for less than $10. The day before we hired driver to pick us up from Saigon and take us to several different orphanages in Bien Hoa and back to Saigon ( we hired him for 10 hours) and it only cost us less than $25 USD. With this price gouging can you imagine what else and how much they are up charging? Stay clear from this company!!!!

Thank you so much anh Hung and chi Simone Nga for a perfect Dubai and Maldives Trip. We had so much fun and lot of memories . The hotels and food that they booked are excellent. Our anniversary was planned perfectly by and Hung( tour leader). Every place we visited which was beautiful . In Maldives, the Centara Fushi Resort is very beautiful. Anh Hung connected with hotel staff to decorate the room and champagne for our anniversary when we arrived. We are highly recommend AV tour for all whenever you need a unforgettable memories and relax, so choose AV Travel, they are professional and exceptional in tour.

I've heart many good things about AV travel from friends and family members. This is the first time my family took a tour with them for the 2021 summer Hawaii trip. First of all, the package price was reasonable. They booked a nice hotel by the beach (Sheraton Waikiki Princess) accessible to shopping centers and restaurants. Secondly, the trip was joyful and relaxable. My family (married with 2 kids) was very happy with the trip after almost 2 years stay put due to pandemic spread out. We went to discover many nice places in Oahu island everyday with the tour and had good dinners with a lot of good food. The kids were very exited to go to the beach and hotel's pool. And lastly, thanks to Mr. Hung and Mrs. Nga, they treated us very well and accommodated everything we needed. Mrs. Simone Nga even volunteered to babysit my little kids for us to have time to go around freely. We will definitely go to AV travel for the next future trips and strongly recommend everyone this agency if you have a vacation plan in mind.

Fast and friendly service. They made buying tickets and visas to Vietnam easy. They also book flights within Vietnam so that was very convenient for our travels. Communication was excellent with calls to update me on what was happening. Visas were fairly priced. **Check your visas to make sure they have the correct dates on them! I noticed the dates were wrong, called them, and they quickly adjusted it and had me pick them up before our departure for LAX. They hustled!

There are so many different things to consider when planning a trip, from hotels and flights to food and activities, and it's safe to say that it can all get rather overwhelming. To help, we've compiled a list of 10 fun and affordable US cities perfect for all types of travelers. From Charlotte, North Carolina , to Albuquerque, New Mexico , these are some of the best budget-friendly cities in the country.

To ensure that our picks are all affordable, we've made selections using data from Priceline on the most affordable domestic flights and hotels in the US this summer (based on average round-trip airfare and average rate per night, respectively). We've also included a few quality hotel and vacation rental options, all under $300 a night, for each destination.

Hyatt Regency Orlando

Orlando, Florida

It's not the flights or the hotels in Orlando that will stretch your budget (both can be found at fairly reasonable prices if you plan in advance), but the activities. Since Orlando is home to Disney World , if you plan on attending any of the parks, you'll be designating a large chunk of your travel budget to tickets. But the theme parks aren't the only great thing to do in the city —from visiting some amazing museums to enjoying nature-filled parks, there are tons of other activities that are often overlooked. If you do plan to spend a day or two at Magic Kingdom or Universal Studios, you can rest easy knowing that the rest of your trip was budgeted accordingly.

As travel prices continue to soar, sticking to a budget is important.

With that in mind, choosing off-the-beaten-path destinations can help your dollars go further, while jetting off to famous luxury resorts is obviously going to weigh on your wallet. New research from FloridaPanhandle.com shows that ski vacations and remote tropical destinations are especially likely to break the bank.

According to the site, its staff analyzed pricing data from more than 100 popular vacation destinations. The study looked at four- and five-star ratings of top-reviewed properties during the most expensive times of the year to travel based on the destination Dec. 21-27 or May 19-25 for all locations (taxes not included) in categories including lodging, ground transportation, flights, food and attraction admissions.

Here’s what the study found on the average cost per day, per person.

Most expensive places to visit

• Gustavia, St. Barth. Average cost: $1,852 per person per day, not including flights
• Gstaad, Switzerland. Average cost: $1,544 per person per day, not including flights
• Aspen, Colorado. Average cost: $1,487 per person per day, not including flights
• Park City, Utah. Average cost: $1,257 per person per day, not including flights
• Maui, Hawaii. Average cost: $1,082 per person per day, not including flights

Least expensive places to visit

• Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Average cost: $122 per person per day, not including flights, which can exceed $1,000 per person.
• Kandy, Sri Lanka. Average cost: $140 per person per day, not including flights.
• Warsaw, Poland. Average cost: $155 per person per day, not including flights.
• Granada, Nicaragua. Average cost: $157 per person per day, not including flights. 
• La Antigua, Guatemala. Average cost: $167 per person per day, not including flights. 

Cheap U.S. destinations include Oklahoma City, Little Rock and Albuquerque.

Tips for cheaper travel

If you’re looking to travel on a budget, it’s a good idea to shop around. Experts have previously told USA TODAY that the more flexible you can be with your travel dates, the easier it will be to find deals. Going places at off-peak times, especially when school is in session, can help make tickets and accommodations more affordable and are likely to attract fewer crowds, too.

With the dollar still strong, it’s also a good time for U.S. citizens to consider traveling abroad. Favorable exchange rates mean your budget could stretch even further overseas.
